Steel bypass for KAN-therm Steel systems – a reliable connection in heating and industrial installations

This is a key element of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed to connect steel pipes in heating, technological, chilled water, compressed air, and inert gas installations. The bypass allows changing the direction of the installation, ensuring a tight and durable connection thanks to the pressing technology. Made of carbon steel with a galvanized anti-corrosion coating (Fe/Zn88), it guarantees corrosion resistance and long life even in harsh conditions.

Design and application

The Steel bypass is characterized by push-fit connections with a nominal diameter of DN 15 (18 mm outer pipe diameter). Its construction based on EPDM O-ring seals and a three-point "M" type clamping system ensures reliability and tightness of the connections. The working connection length 1 is 145 mm, and the total length is 165 mm. The bypass shape allows for flexible routing of the installation, adapting to the specifics of the project.

This element finds wide application both in new installations and during the modernization of existing ones. Thanks to the possibility of using existing passages through walls and ceilings, installation is faster and less invasive. In addition, KAN-therm Steel steel pipes are perfect for publicly accessible places, such as stairwells or basements, where high mechanical resistance is required.
