Steel reducing tee 28/22/28 1509260020
Steel reducing tee for pressure installations
This KAN-therm Steel 28/22/28 reducing tee is a reliable solution for creating branches in steel heating, chilled water or process heat installations. Made of carbon steel with a galvanized coating, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance, especially in demanding conditions. Its design allows for quick and secure installation using the pressing technology, eliminating the need for welding or threading.
Design and application
The reducing tee connects three elements with different diameters – 28 mm, 22 mm and 28 mm – allowing for a change in the installation cross-section. A 90° bending angle makes it ideal for routing pipes in different directions. The use of crimp sleeves ensures a tight and durable connection. This is an element of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed for internal, closed pressure installations. Therefore, it works well both in residential and industrial buildings.
Functionality and safety
A key feature of this tee is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates unpressed connections. This means that in the event of incorrect pressing, a leak of the medium immediately indicates the problematic place, allowing to avoid more serious failures. Additionally, the O-ring seal ensures reliable and leak-proof connection for a long service life. Carbon steel RSt 34-2 (1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3) with a zinc layer guarantees corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Installation is carried out without the use of open flame, which increases safety during installation work, especially in multi-family buildings.
