This steel tee, with a diameter of 76.1 mm, is a KAN-therm Steel system component designed to create durable and safe connections in internal installations. Made of galvanized carbon steel, it provides corrosion resistance and high pressure resistance, making it an ideal solution for both professional installers and end users. The fitting is designed for pressing, which guarantees quick and reliable installation without the need for welding or threading.

Construction and application

The 90° tee is made of carbon steel RSt 34-2 (1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3) and coated with a layer of zinc (8-15 µm), which provides effective protection against corrosion. Its construction based on socket clamping connections allows for easy and tight connection with KAN-therm Steel system pipes. It is used in central heating, chilled water, process heat and solar installations. Due to its high mechanical strength, it can also be used in public facilities exposed to vandalism.

Safety and functionality

A key feature of this tee is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates unpressed connections. This means that in the event of incorrect pressing, the fitting will leak, allowing for quick detection of the error and avoiding more serious installation problems. The KAN-therm Steel system is also characterized by high pressure resistance (up to 25 bar) and temperature resistance (up to 200°C), which guarantees its reliability and long-term use. Quick installation thanks to "Press" technology eliminates the need for welding or threading, and the light weight of the elements makes it easier for installers to work.
