Multilayer PERTAL ultraPRESS pipes – reliability and versatility of installations

PERTAL ultraPRESS pipes are an advanced solution for building water and heating installations. Made of polyethylene with increased thermal resistance, reinforced with a longitudinally welded aluminum layer, they ensure long-lasting and safe operation. A wide range of applications – from hot and cold water installations, through radiator and underfloor heating, to compressed air – makes them an ideal choice for both professionals and demanding customers.

The pipe with a diameter of 40 mm and a wall thickness of 3.5 mm is available in practical lengths of 5 meters. The white color makes it easy to identify in the installation. The three-layer construction – a combination of polyethylene, aluminum and polyethylene again – guarantees high mechanical strength and resistance to corrosion and high temperatures (up to 90°C). The maximum working pressure of 10 bar ensures safe use even in demanding conditions.

PERTAL ultraPRESS pipes are compatible with crimp fittings made of PPSU or brass equipped with a steel sealing ring – ensuring reliable connections without the risk of leaks. The linear thermal expansion coefficient α is 0.023-0.025 mm/mxK and the thermal conductivity λ is 0.43 W/mxK - parameters important in the design of extensive heating systems. The inner wall roughness k=0.007mm minimizes the flow resistance of liquids.
