The stabiGLASS SDR6 PN20 PPR pipe is an element of the KAN-therm PP system, designed for the construction of internal water supply (hot and cold domestic water) and heating installations. Made of random polypropylene (PP-R) stabilized with fiberglass, it is characterized by high strength and durability. Available in the form of a 4-meter long rod with a diameter of 40 mm and a wall thickness of 6.7 mm, it is ideally suited for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones.

Construction and properties

Fiberglass stabilization eliminates the need to remove the foil layer before welding, which significantly speeds up installation. The low coefficient of thermal expansion makes the pipe particularly recommended for central heating installations, even those mounted on plaster. The PP-R material provides chemical resistance and high hygiene, which is important in the case of drinking water installations. Additionally, the pipe is characterized by low thermal conductivity, reducing heat loss and thermal insulation costs.
