Stainless steel tee for KAN-therm systems

This Inox GW tee is a reliable solution for creating branches in installations made of stainless steel. Designed for press connections, it ensures a tight and durable connection, especially in demanding conditions. Made of high-quality stainless steel 1.4404, it is resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage.

Construction and application

The tee has three connections: two with clamping sleeves with a diameter of 42 mm (DN 40, 1 inch) and one with an internal cylindrical BSPP-G (ISO 228-1) thread with a diameter of 1 inch. The bending angle is 90 degrees. This makes it ideal for connecting pipes of the same diameter with a branch to a thread. The O-ring seal made of monomeric ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EDPM) guarantees tightness and minimizes the risk of leaks.

LBP controlled leak function

A key feature of this tee is the LBP (Leak Before Press) controlled leak function. This means that if the fitting is pressed incorrectly, the leak will occur in a visible place, allowing for quick identification and repair of the error – before the installation is filled with medium. This is an important convenience for both installers and end users, ensuring the safety and reliability of the system.
