This GW Steel tee with a diameter of 28 mm and a Rp1” thread is a key element of the KAN-therm Steel system, designed to create branches in heating and cooling installations. Made of carbon steel with a galvanized coating, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. It is compatible with pressing technology, guaranteeing quick and secure installation.

Design and application

This tee connects three installation elements – two connected using clamping sleeves and one with an internal BSPT-Rc thread. A 90-degree angle allows for efficient routing of pipelines in different directions. Its design is intended for use in closed-pressure systems, making it an ideal solution for both new installations and modernization of existing ones. Thanks to the use of an O-ring seal, the connection is tight and leak-proof.

LBP function and installation safety

KAN-therm Steel fittings, including this tee, are equipped with the LBP (Leak Before Press) function, which indicates unpressed connections. This means that in the event of incorrect pressing, the connection will be leaky, making it easier to locate the error during pressure tests. This is an important convenience for installers, helping to avoid leakage problems in the future. Additionally, this tee meets safety standards and withstands pressure up to 16 bar and operating temperatures from -35°C to 135°C (short-term up to 150°C).
