Steel fitting for pressure installations

This GW Steel tee with a diameter of 1/2 inch is a reliable solution for creating branches in steel installations. Made of carbon steel, coated with a layer of zinc, it provides durable corrosion protection. Designed for pressing, it guarantees tightness and quick installation. A 90-degree bend angle makes it easier to run the installation in tight spaces.

Design and application

This tee is an element of the KAN-therm Steel system, dedicated to internal, closed pressure installations. It will be suitable for central heating, chilled water, process heat, solar and industrial installations. Made of RSt 34-2 steel (1.0034 according to DIN EN 10305-3), it is characterized by high mechanical strength and resistance to damage. BSPT-Rc internal thread (ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1) ensures compatibility with other installation elements.

LBP function and safety

A key feature of this tee is the LBP (Leak Before Press) function - signaling unpressed connections. This means that any leakage will be visible before the installation is put into use, which allows to avoid more serious problems in the future. Pressing technology eliminates the need for welding or threading, which translates into faster and safer installation - especially important when replacing old installations in multi-family buildings. O-ring sealing further increases the reliability and tightness of the connection.
