Multilayer pipe for central heating and water installations

The PERTAL ultraPRESS pipe is an advanced solution designed for the construction of central heating installations, water supply systems (hot and cold water) and underfloor heating. The pipe's construction, based on a combination of polyethylene with increased thermal resistance (PE-RT) and an aluminum layer, ensures exceptional durability and reliability. Construction and properties

The pipe consists of three layers: inner and outer layers made of PE-RT type II, and a middle aluminum layer, laser-welded. This unique construction combines the advantages of plastics – flexibility and corrosion resistance – with the properties of aluminum – a barrier to oxygen diffusion and low thermal expansion. The aluminum layer minimizes the thermal elongation of the pipe, making it up to eight times more thermally stable than traditional polyethylene pipes. This translates to reduced stress in the installation and increased its lifespan. The pipe is characterized by high tightness, pressure resistance (up to 10 bar) and temperature resistance (up to 90°C).

Application and compatibility

The PERTAL ultraPRESS pipe is fully compatible with the fittings of the KAN-therm ultraPRESS system, guaranteeing easy and reliable installation. It meets the PN-EN ISO 21003-2:2009 standard and has a PZH certificate, confirming safety of use in contact with drinking water. The manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on the pipe and connections made with ultraPRESS fittings, which demonstrates the high quality of the product and confidence in its durability.
