Characteristics and application

A circuit breaker with characteristic C reacts to short-term current surges slightly slower than model B, making it an ideal choice for circuits with receivers generating surge currents during start-up – such as motors or transformers. Rated voltage of 400V AC and high short-circuit breaking capacity (6kA) guarantee safety even in demanding working conditions. Energy limitation class 3 confirms its effectiveness in suppressing short-circuit energy.

Construction and parameters

The construction of the circuit breaker occupies 4 modules, which allows for optimal use of space in the distribution board. Protection class IP20 provides basic protection against accidental contact. Wires with a cross-section from 1 to 25 mm² can be connected without problems, and the ambient temperature range from 5°C to 40°C enables operation in typical installation conditions. The circuit breaker meets the requirements of the PN-EN 60898-1 standard, which guarantees its compliance with applicable safety standards. Rated insulation voltage Ui is 500V.
