The Kanlux KRD6-2/16/10-A residual current device (RCD) is a key element ensuring safety in every electrical circuit. Its Type A design guarantees operation in both sinusoidal and pulsating DC circuits, making it a universal solution for various applications.

Installation and technical parameters

The RCD is designed for mounting on a standard TH35 rail, occupying only 2 module spaces. Its rated current is 16A, and the differential current is 10mA, ensuring effective protection while maintaining appropriate sensitivity. The rated voltage of 230V AC makes it ideal for standard electrical installations in residential and commercial buildings. The rated switching capacity of 6000A and the insulation voltage Ui 400V guarantee reliable operation even in difficult conditions.

Application and compliance with standards

The device meets the requirements of PN-EN 61008-1, confirming its high quality and safety. A wide operating temperature range from -25°C to +40°C enables its use in various environmental conditions. The KRD6-2/16/10-A RCD can be used to protect circuits with a conductor cross-section of up to 35mm², allowing it to be used in both new installations and during the modernization of existing ones. The IP20 degree of protection provides protection against accidental contact and the ingress of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
