PP plastic cover for sewage systems

The 400mm diameter PP plastic cover is designed for long-term operation in demanding conditions. Made of polypropylene (PP) with durability-enhancing additives, it is used to seal inspection and drainage manholes.

Construction and materials

The cover is manufactured from plastics resistant to high and low temperatures, which guarantees dimensional stability in various weather conditions. The material is enriched with additives that significantly increase the durability and resistance of the finished products to discoloration caused by atmospheric factors.

The design is intended for installation on a smooth riser pipe with a diameter of 400mm as the termination of the entire manhole system. The set includes 2 mounting screws, allowing for quick and trouble-free installation by screwing on the cover.

Strength parameters and safety

The product has a load class A15 with increased strength up to 7.5 tonnes (75 kN), which has been confirmed by tests in an independent external laboratory in accordance with the EN 124 standard. This characteristic makes the cover suitable for areas with pedestrian and bicycle traffic, as well as green areas.

The material is characterized by resistance to mechanical damage and atmospheric conditions, resulting in many years of trouble-free operation without the need for frequent maintenance or replacement.

Application and installation

The cover finds wide application in sanitary infrastructure systems: communication inspection manholes, drainage manholes, soakaway manholes for drainage, garden manholes, as well as in the construction of sewage inspection points on sidewalks and green zones and various types of reservoirs.

Installation is very simple - the cover should be screwed on using the two included screws, which presents no technical problems. At the same time, the design remains lightweight, facilitating transport and installation while maintaining robust construction.
