The Practicus DN 100 floor drain is a solution designed for point drainage of water from floor surfaces, particularly in areas with high flow rates – such as showers, utility rooms, or industrial spaces. Its construction ensures stability, hygiene, and durability under operational conditions.

The body is made of polypropylene (PP), resistant to corrosion, chemical cleaning agents, and temperature changes. The included siphon has a water seal height of 50 mm – providing an effective odor barrier without the need for additional components. The lip seal and protective cover during installation facilitate mounting and protect against contamination before commissioning.

The ABS telescopic sleeve can be adjusted in the range of 20 to 76 mm – allowing precise adaptation to floor thickness, even on uneven substrates. The 138x138 mm slot grate, made of stainless steel 14301 (AISI 304), has a polished surface and is screwed to the frame – requiring no gluing or welding. Load class K3 (in accordance with EN 1253-1) guarantees strength for loads typical of halls, kitchens, or garages.

The flow capacity is 1.6 l/s at a head of 20 mm – sufficient even for intense water flows. The side connection DN 100 (outer diameter 110 mm) is compatible with SML pipes, and the clamping flange with a stainless steel counter-flange ensures a tight connection without additional seals.

The floor drain complies with EN 1253-1 and has been certified by the Fraunhofer Institute regarding acoustic insulation – it reduces water flow noise, which is important in residential construction. Installation is simple: the drain is embedded in the floor slab, and the telescopic sleeve allows height adjustment without cutting pipes.

No additional sediment trap is required – the siphon is an integral part of the structure. The version with a clamping flange eliminates the need for sealing mats according to DIN 18534, shortening installation time and reducing the risk of installation errors.
