Touchless Sink Faucet with Optical Sensor

The faucet operates without contact – simply raise your hands under the aerator to automatically activate the water flow. The sensor responds in less than 2 seconds, and the flow stops automatically when the hand is removed. This is not only convenient but also hygienic: there is no need to touch any surfaces, reducing the risk of bacterial transmission.

Water flows from a cascade aerator M 24 x 1, which mixes the stream with air to create a soft, uniform flow without splashing. The flow rate is approximately 8 l/min at a pressure of 3 bar, ensuring sufficient power for daily use. The system includes anti-theft protection – the aerator is permanently mounted and cannot be easily removed.

Construction and Installation

The body is made of solid, corrosion-resistant brass, coated with a high-gloss chrome layer. All internal components – including check valves and a debris-filtering strainer – are designed for long-term operation. The G 3/8 pressure hoses are flexible and easy to connect; single-hole installation (35 mm) is quick and requires no complex tools.

The quick-mount system allows the faucet to be installed directly on the sink countertop without needing access from underneath. The vandal-resistant design makes the faucet suitable for both residential and public spaces – hospitals, schools, or offices.

Power Supply and Safety

Powered by a single 6 V CR-P2 lithium battery – its status is indicated by an LED on the electronic module. When the battery approaches the end of its life, the system provides an early warning, allowing time for replacement. The module has IP65 protection – resistant to dust and water spray.

The cartridge valve enables manual adjustment of the maximum water temperature (up to 70°C), preventing scalding. Additionally, it functions as a temperature limiter – the temperature cannot be set higher than the value configured by the installer. All components comply with DVGW and EN 1717 standards (backflow prevention), and acoustic class I ensures quiet operation – noise level below 20 dB(A).

The faucet does not require connection to the mains – ideal for locations without easy access to electricity. It can also be used with flow-through heaters.
