Touchless Basin Faucet with Mains Power Supply

The faucet operates based on an optical motion sensor that activates water flow upon hand detection, eliminating the need to touch any surfaces. This solution reduces the risk of bacterial spread while removing the necessity to turn levers or press buttons. The dual-sensor system self-calibrates to the environment, preventing false activations.

230 V mains power ensures stable operation of the electronic module without the need for battery replacement. The module includes a voltage level indicator, allowing quick detection of power issues before complete shutdown. All functions are controlled by a microprocessor, which also manages the automatic hygienic flush and limits the maximum flow duration to 2 minutes.

Construction and Installation

The unit is designed for single-hole installation, requiring only one hole in the basin countertop. The quick-mount system enables fast installation even in hard-to-reach areas. Flexible pressure hoses G 3/8 facilitate water connection from existing plumbing; their length and flexibility eliminate the need for precise distance adjustment between the water source and the fixture.

An internal sediment filter protects the valve from damage caused by deposits or small particles in the water. Check valves prevent backflow, a critical feature for compliance with Trinkwasserverordnung and DVGW requirements. The M24 x 1 cascade aerator not only disperses the water stream but is also physically secured against theft, making it difficult to unscrew.

Compliance and Operating Conditions

The fixture complies with DVGW standards (W543/W270) and is classified as Acoustic Class I, ensuring quiet operation without vibrations or noise during water flow. The electronics enclosure has an IP65 protection rating, offering resistance to dust and injected water, making it ideal for humid environments such as bathrooms and kitchens.

The maximum allowable hot water inlet temperature is 65°C; the system automatically blocks higher temperatures to prevent scalding. At 3 bar pressure, the flow rate is 5 l/min, a value confirmed by both the manufacturer and technical documentation. No drain set or stopper is included; the fixture is intended solely for installation with an external drain.

Vandal resistance is achieved through brass construction and a chrome-plated finish, ensuring both aesthetic appeal and durability under intensive use. Installation requires only standard plumbing tools; no specialized configuration or communication with BMS systems is needed.
