Safe access in difficult conditions
Krause shaft ladders are a solid and reliable solution for safe access in places requiring descent or ascent, such as wastewater treatment plants, water treatment plants, landfills or retention tanks. Made of hot-dip galvanized steel, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance even in an aggressive environment. The ladder's design has been tested and approved in accordance with DIN EN 14396, and the entry/exit elements meet the requirements of DIN 19572.
Design and parameters
The ladder has 12 rungs and a total length of 3.36 m. The clear width is 400 mm, and the external width is 440 mm. Side rails with a rectangular cross-section (50x20 mm) and non-slip, perforated rungs guarantee stability and safety of use. The ladder weighs approximately 17 kg.
- Made of high-quality hot-dip galvanized steel – provides long-lasting corrosion protection.
- Compliance with DIN EN 14396 and DIN 19572 standards – confirms the safety and reliability of the design.
- Non-slip perforated rungs – increase comfort and safety during use, even in wet conditions.
- Width of 400 mm – provides convenient access and freedom of movement.
- Solid construction – adapted for intensive use in harsh industrial conditions.
Application
Krause shaft ladders are widely used in various industries:
- Water and wastewater industry: safe access to sewage chambers, retention tanks and other equipment.
- Chemical industry: access to reactors, storage tanks and other installations.
- Construction: access to manholes, ventilation shafts and other hard-to-reach places.
- Energy: access to electrical equipment and energy infrastructure.
- Municipal: access to sewer manholes, pumping stations and other elements of urban infrastructure.
Shaft ladders made of plastic or fiberglass are also available to order - an alternative for installations exposed to particularly aggressive chemical environments or requiring electrical insulation.
