This cast iron drainage inlet, designed for load class D400 (40 tons), is a reliable solution for draining rainwater in places exposed to heavy vehicle traffic. It will work well on roads, driveways, parking lots and hardened shoulders. The design adapted for mounting with a sediment basket ensures effective collection of impurities and prevents clogging of the sewage system.

Construction and application

The inlet is made of durable cast iron, which guarantees its resistance to mechanical damage and corrosion. It has a 3/4 collar, which facilitates installation and connection to the existing sewage infrastructure. The movable grate facilitates access to the inside of the inlet for cleaning and maintenance. The use of characteristic C allows it to react more slowly to short current surges, therefore it tolerates starting devices with a motor well.

The inlet complies with the PN-EN 124-2 Group 4 class D400 standard, which confirms its high quality and safety of use. The stability of the grate is ensured by six support points eliminating keying – this is particularly important in places with high traffic intensity. Additionally, the inlet body can be anchored to the ground, which increases its stability and prevents shifting. The painted finish protects the cast iron from corrosion and weathering.
