This 10-port unmanaged network switch Lanberg RSFE-8P-2GE-120 is an ideal solution for demanding installations where reliable power and data transmission are crucial. The device combines the functions of a switch and a PoE+ power supply, simplifying cabling and reducing installation costs. It will work well both in home monitoring systems and in extensive corporate, alarm or access control networks.

Power Where You Need It

The switch offers 8 Fast Ethernet ports with PoE/PoE+ (802.3af/at) support and 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports (Uplink). This allows for simultaneous power supply and data transmission to devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones or access points. The total PoE power budget is as much as 120W, allowing you to connect up to 8 devices requiring up to 15W each or 4 devices consuming up to 30W. This solution eliminates the need for additional power supplies and extension cords, which translates into aesthetics and installation convenience.

Intelligent Power Management

The built-in PoE port disconnection mechanism ensures stable system operation even if the available power budget is exceeded. In such a situation, the switch begins to gradually disconnect ports with the highest number, maintaining the operation of those with lower priority. This guarantees the continuity of operation of key devices, such as surveillance cameras or alarm systems.

Flexibility and Extended Possibilities

Thanks to the Extend Mode function, the switch enables data and PoE+ power transmission at a distance of up to 250 meters on a single cable segment (with a speed limitation to 10 Mb/s). This is particularly useful in monitoring systems where devices are often located at a large distance from the distribution point. In addition, the switch has a 4kV surge protection, protecting connected devices from damage caused by sudden voltage spikes.

No Compromise Mounting

The switch is designed for mounting in 10" and 19" racks. The set includes appropriate mounting brackets and screws (excluding M6), which facilitates installation in various network configurations. Compact dimensions (44.45 x 118 x 200 mm) allow for easy placement of the device even in limited space.
