This unmanaged Lanberg RSGE-16 switch is a solid and functional solution for any network, from home to extensive corporate infrastructure. With 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports, it provides fast and stable data transfer, ideal for applications such as monitoring, VoIP, IP networks, or cable TV. The design adapted for mounting in 10” and 19” racks makes the device easily integrate into existing infrastructure.

Functionality and safety

RSGE-16 is not only speed but also advanced features that increase network security and flexibility. The Extend Mode function allows data transmission over a distance of up to 250 meters (at a speed of 10 Mb/s), which is particularly useful in monitoring systems where long distances often occur between devices. Additionally, the VLAN function allows port separation, increasing network security by isolating individual segments. Built-in surge protection (2 kV) protects devices connected to the switch from damage caused by sudden voltage spikes.

Mounting and compatibility

The switch comes with mounting brackets for 10” and 19” racks, ensuring wide compatibility with various types of server cabinets. Simple Plug & Play installation eliminates the need for complex configuration – just connect the device to start using it. A solid metal housing provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The device is powered by the mains (100-240V AC) thanks to the built-in power supply.
