Construction and properties

ÖLFLEX® CLASSIC 110 is designed for demanding applications. Made of fine-stranded copper conductors, insulated with PVC, it provides good conductivity and long-lasting operation. Layer-twisted cores are surrounded by an outer jacket made of PVC, which provides resistance to mechanical damage, acids, alkalis and UV radiation. This makes the cable suitable for use in dry and humid environments, as well as outdoors (taking into account the temperature range). It ensures continuous bending in moving parts of machines and chain guides.

Safety and compliance with standards

The safety of use is confirmed by the VDE certificate and a high test voltage of 4000 V. The cable meets the requirements of the CPR (Eca) standard, which guarantees its fire-retardant properties – detailed information is available on the LAPP manufacturer's website. In addition, the cable shows oil resistance according to DIN EN 50290-2-22 (TM54) and has been tested for resistance to disinfectants and cleaning agents ECOLAB®. The cable design also allows use in wind turbines.
