Robust power cable for crane and conveyor applications

The ÖLFLEX® CRANE PUR cable is a flexible, high-quality power cable designed for operation in demanding conditions, such as crane, conveyor and transport systems. Its construction allows for safe and reliable power supply to equipment operating in continuous motion, especially where winding and unwinding from a drum occurs. This cable performs well both indoors and outdoors, providing long-lasting performance even in harsh industrial environments.

Construction and properties

ÖLFLEX® CRANE PUR stands out with a unique construction that provides exceptional mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. Made with fine-wire copper conductors insulated with TPE material, it guarantees flexibility even at low temperatures (down to -40°C). A central support element absorbs stresses generated during winding and unwinding of the cable, preventing twisting and the so-called pigtailing effect. In addition, a supporting braid integrated with the outer jacket made of PUR (polyurethane) provides additional protection against mechanical damage and the influence of chemicals and UV radiation. The PUR jacket is also halogen-free and flame retardant (IEC 60332-1-2).
