Universal Ethernet Cat.5e cable for demanding installations

This shielded Ethernet cable ETHERLINE® LAN Cat.5e SF/UTP is a solid solution for building a reliable network in buildings. It is suitable for both new installations and upgrades to existing systems. The cable is designed for structured cabling, meeting EN 50173 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, which guarantees its compatibility with most network devices.

Construction and application

The cable has a 4x2xAWG24 construction, which means four twisted pairs of wires with a 24 AWG cross-section. The SF/UTP screen (Screened Foiled Unshielded Twisted Pair) provides protection against electromagnetic interference, minimizing the risk of data transmission errors. It is ideal for horizontal underfloor cabling – it can be used on sections up to 100 meters (taking into account a maximum of 90 meters on the installation route and 10 meters at the workstation). Made of PVC, it is characterized by good flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage.

The ETHERLINE® LAN Cat.5e cable meets the requirements of fire reaction class Eca, which means that in the event of a fire, it emits a limited amount of smoke and toxic gases.
