The H07V-K (LGY) 1x2,5 installation cable is a professional solution for wiring electrical devices and switchgear. The single-core design with a 2,5 mm² cross-section and a class 5 copper conductor ensures flexibility. Dark blue polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation provides protection.

Construction and materials

The cable core is made of smooth-surfaced copper, stranded in multiple wires, which ensures flexibility while maintaining electrical stability. The multi-wire class 5 construction allows for easy shaping and bending without the risk of breaking individual wires.

The insulation made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) is characterized by resistance to chemical agents encountered in industrial environments. The insulation surface is smooth and uniform throughout the entire length of the cable, facilitating pulling through conduits and cable trays.

An outer diameter of 4,1 mm with a conductor cross-section of 2,5 mm² ensures an optimal ratio of cross-section to external dimensions. The minimum bending radius is 16,4 mm, allowing for routing even in limited spaces.

Operating parameters and safety

The cable operates within a voltage range of 450/750V, enabling its use in both low-voltage circuits as well as standard domestic and industrial installations. The maximum conductor operating temperature is 80°C, and the permissible ambient temperature after installation ranges from -40°C to +80°C.

Fire-resistant properties are confirmed by a certificate according to the IEC 60332-1-2 standard, meaning the insulation does not spread flames after the fire source is removed. The fire reaction class according to EN 13501-6 is Eca, providing basic fire protection.

The cable weighs 32 kg/km, making it a lightweight solution that facilitates the transport and installation of long sections. High manufacturing quality is confirmed by the HAR certificate and compliance with European standards EN 50525.

Applications and compatibility

This model finds wide application in the wiring of internal machine circuits and electrical switchgear. It is intended for fixed connections and installations in cable trays routed inside buildings.

It is particularly recommended for wiring lighting systems and creating equipotential bonding connections between different elements of the electrical installation. It can be used to power automation devices and PLC controllers.
