DPX3 125 HP+RCD Circuit Breaker – Comprehensive Protection for Your Installation
The DPX3 125 HP+RCD is a reliable device that combines the functions of an overcurrent and residual current device (RCD), providing comprehensive protection for electrical circuits. Designed to safeguard installations against overloads, short circuits, and electric shock, it performs reliably in both residential and commercial environments. The 4-pole design and high breaking capacity (36 kA) ensure effective protection even under demanding conditions.
Functionality and Applications
This circuit breaker is an ideal solution for electrical installations requiring a high level of safety. The integrated RCD protection effectively prevents electric shock, while the HP (High Performance) characteristic ensures rapid response to overloads and short circuits. This minimizes the risk of equipment damage and fire hazards. The device is suitable for protecting circuits with a rated continuous current of 32 A, within a voltage range of 220–690 V. It can be installed in electrical distribution boards to provide centralized protection for multiple loads.
Design and Installation Features
The DPX3 125 HP+RCD features a robust construction in an enclosure providing adequate protection against external factors (IP30 protection rating). Main terminal connections are made via bolted connections, ensuring secure and durable electrical contact. It includes two changeover auxiliary contacts, enabling status signaling or remote control of other devices. An off indicator allows quick identification of the device’s status. This unit is not designed for DIN rail mounting—it is a complete, self-contained device ready for direct installation. The thermal trip setting range allows precise adjustment to match load characteristics (25.6–32 A), while the magnetic trip setting range is 630 A.
