Functionality and Operating Parameters

This breaker features a precise thermal-magnetic trip mechanism. The overload trip setting range of 125-160A enables fine-tuning to match specific load requirements, while the short-circuit trip setting (800-1600A) ensures rapid response during fault conditions. As a result, the device effectively protects the installation from damage caused by both overloads and short circuits. Additionally, the inclusion of two auxiliary changeover contacts expands integration capabilities with control and signaling systems.

Installation and Compatibility

The DPX3 250 HP breaker is equipped with bolted terminals that ensure secure and safe conductor connections. Screw-type clamps allow connection of cables up to 120mm² (stranded) or 150mm² (solid). The device includes an off-position indicator to simplify identification of the device status and the reason for circuit interruption. An IP30 protection rating provides protection against accidental contact and ingress of solid objects. Optional motorized drive mounting enhances functionality in remotely controlled systems.
