Surge protector T1+T2 12.5/60 3P is a key element in protecting the electrical installation from the effects of lightning strikes and voltage surges in the network. Construction and application

This limiter combines the features of type 1 and type 2 protection, which means it is able to effectively dissipate both direct lightning strikes (through a type 1 limiter) and overvoltages resulting from induced disturbances (thanks to the operation of a type 2 limiter). Mounted on a TH-35 mm DIN rail, it occupies only 3 module spaces, making it easy to install even in crowded switchboards. Designed for TN-C, TN-C-S and TN systems, it is not compatible with IT and TT systems. The rated AC voltage is 400V, and the maximum discharge current (8/20) reaches as much as 25 kA.

Functionality and benefits

It has optical operation indication, as well as a remote signaling contact, allowing for a quick response in the event of a failure. The maximum cross-section of flexible conductors is 25 mm², and rigid conductors – 35 mm², which ensures compatibility with various types of installations.
