Protection of installations and electrical devices
The BKJ63Nd overcurrent circuit breaker is a reliable protection for your electrical installation. Designed to protect against the effects of overloads and short circuits, it ensures safe and continuous system operation. This four-pole circuit breaker with a rated current of 40A and characteristic C is an ideal solution for both home and industrial installations.
Characteristics and application
BKJ63Nd series circuit breakers are characterized by high efficiency and durability. Characteristic C means that the circuit breaker reacts to short-circuit currents in the range of 5 to 10 times the rated current, making it suitable for protecting circuits with devices generating surge currents, such as motors or transformers. Mounting on a 35mm DIN rail is quick and easy, and the ability to connect wires with a cross-section of up to 25mm² provides flexibility in wire selection.
Construction and parameters
The BKJ63Nd circuit breaker has been designed with ease of use and reliability in mind. It has a dual terminal (screw and lug) to facilitate wire connection. Compliance with IEC 60898-1 and IEC 60947-2 standards guarantees safety and high product quality. The circuit breaker operates at temperatures from -5°C to +40°C, allowing it to be used in various environmental conditions. Its mechanical endurance is 20,000 cycles, and electrical endurance – 10,000 cycles, which proves the long service life of the device. The rated impulse voltage is as high as 4kV, which further increases its resistance to interference. The rated current of this model is 40A at 415VAC (2~4 poles) or 240VAC (1 pole). It provides effectiveness in circuits with different configurations.
