18V LI-ION 5.0 Ah Makpac rotary hammer with chiseling function DHR241RTJ
Mobile power in a professional edition
The DHR241RTJ cordless rotary hammer is designed for tasks where access to mains power is difficult or impossible. Thanks to the 18 V LXT system and the use of two 5.0 Ah Li-Ion batteries, the tool offers cable-free freedom of movement while maintaining the power characteristic of corded equipment. An impact energy of 2.0 J per blow enables efficient drilling in concrete up to 20 mm in diameter, making it an ideal choice for installing anchors, electrical or hydraulic installations in buildings.
Three operating modes and precise control
The tool offers full flexibility thanks to three operating modes: drilling without hammering, drilling with hammering, and chiseling (chipping). This is a key feature for installers performing finishing or renovation work. Hammer drilling is ideal for concrete and brick, where the 2 J energy effectively breaks down the material. For working with steel (up to 13 mm) and wood (up to 26 mm), the drilling without hammering mode is the better solution, preventing material damage. The chiseling mode, in turn, allows for the removal of plaster or ceramic tiles.
The special sliding SDS-PLUS chuck enables quick tool changes without additional tools. Moreover, the system allows tool-free adjustment of the chisel in 40 positions, which is invaluable when working in hard-to-reach places or when precise adjustment of the impact angle is required.
Ergonomics and complete starter kit
The device's construction has been refined for comfort during hours of work. The total weight of approximately 3.5 kg (with battery) and a well-balanced housing minimize operator fatigue. The bumper protects the operating mode levers and the gearbox from mechanical damage during drops or impacts with obstacles. The kit includes not only the machine itself but a complete starter package ready for immediate use: two BL1850B batteries (5.0 Ah) ensuring long operation without downtime for charging, and a fast charger DC18RC – the charging time for one battery is only about 22 minutes. Additionally, a side handle for better control under heavy loads, a drilling depth stop for precision of mounting holes, and a durable MAKPAC Type 3 system case facilitating transport and storage of the entire set are included.
Key operating parameters
The technical values of the device have been optimized for efficiency in various materials. The no-load speed reaches a range of 0 to 1100–1200 rpm, allowing precise control of the drilling process depending on the cutting material used. The impact frequency reaches up to 4000 blows per minute, generating a single impact energy of 2.0 J – this result directly translates into the ability to drill holes up to 20 mm in diameter in solid concrete. For softer materials, the capabilities increase: in wood, holes up to 26 mm in diameter can be drilled, and in steel up to 13 mm. The entire device weighs approximately 3.5 kg (with battery), which, with a total length of 417 mm, ensures good maneuverability even in tight working spaces.
Please note that the device is not compatible with the lightest LXT series batteries with a capacity below 3 Ah (e.g., BL1815), which do not have the appropriate protective electronics for this rotary hammer model. Thanks to this solution, the manufacturer guarantees stable operation of the BLDC motor and optimal utilization of the energy stored in batteries with a capacity of 3 Ah and above. The entire product is covered by the manufacturer's warranty program, which further increases the security of the investment in professional construction equipment.
