Power and Precision in a Cordless Edition
This tool is the answer to the needs of professional construction teams requiring performance comparable to corded devices while maintaining full mobility. Thanks to the XGT 40V system and a brushless BLDC motor, the hammer drill generates an impact energy of 2.9 J, enabling effective drilling in concrete up to 28 mm in diameter. For installations requiring larger holes, the tool also supports core drills up to 54 mm in diameter. This is not ordinary equipment for light renovation work; its construction is designed to handle the toughest materials while maintaining control over the process.
For installers, key factors include not only raw power but also work ergonomics. The machine is equipped with an AVT anti-vibration system, reducing vibration levels during hammer drilling to 15.6 m/s². In practice, this means less fatigue in hands and wrists after a full day of work, as well as greater precision when drilling mounting holes. Additionally, adjustable rotational speed (0–980 rpm) and impact frequency (0–5000/min) allow adaptation of operating parameters to specific materials – whether steel (up to 13 mm), wood (up to 32 mm), or hard masonry.
Complete Kit Ready for Immediate Use Straight from the Case
It is worth noting what is included in the kit – the manufacturer does not leave the user with just the tool. In the Makpac 4 system case, we receive everything necessary for an immediate start:
- Two BL4040 batteries with 4.0 Ah capacity, ensuring long operating time without the need for constant power source switching.
- A DC40RA charger capable of charging a single 4 Ah battery in just about 45 minutes.
- A dust extraction system DX14, compatible with this model, equipped with a HEPA H13 filter (99.75% efficiency) and a 400 ml dust container. This is crucial for operator health and site cleanliness.
- An additional quick-change drill chuck 13 mm (with 1/2" or 20UNF mounting), eliminating the need to carry two different tools for mixed tasks (e.g., drilling holes for plugs and drilling holes for anchors).
The drilling capabilities of this model are extensive: standard SDS+ drill bits reach concrete up to 28 mm, while using core drills allows for holes up to 54 mm in diameter. For materials such as steel or wood, after switching to the quick-change chuck, the tool handles diameters up to 13 mm and 32 mm respectively.
Durability and Safety in Demanding Conditions
The device's construction has been thoughtfully designed for work in challenging construction environments. XPT technology (XPT - eXtended Protection Technology) increases the machine's resistance to dust and moisture, translating into longer service life of internal mechanisms. The brushless motor not only ensures higher performance and longer runtime per battery charge but also eliminates the need for carbon brush replacement – saving time and service costs in the long term.
User safety is also a priority. The battery protection circuit guards against overload, excessive discharge, and overheating. Two integrated LED lights illuminate the work area and feature a delayed shut-off function, allowing precise completion of drilling even after releasing the trigger. The sliding side handle facilitates tool changes and allows adjustment of the handle position to the operator's preference (for both right-handed and left-handed users). The entire unit weighs between 4.0 and 5.4 kg (depending on the installed battery), making it a relatively lightweight tool in its performance class given its high power.
