Ergonomics and quick accessory change

The device construction has been refined for comfort during extended use. The ergonomic design ensures a secure grip, which is particularly important when precisely guiding the sander along curves or in tight spaces. Changing the sandpaper is instantaneous thanks to the large clamping lever – this mechanism allows for quick attachment of the sheet both via hook-and-loop fastener and via clamps on both sides of the foot. There is no need to use additional tools for this operation. The device is also equipped with an electronic, 2-stage vibration frequency switch (from 11 000 to 14 000 min⁻¹), allowing the working speed to be adjusted to the type of material – from delicate sanding of varnish to faster removal of thick layers of paint or mortar.

Dust extraction system and compatibility

An important aspect of working with this model is the ability to connect a vacuum extractor via a dedicated port (Ø inlet 17 mm / outlet 22 mm). The set includes a dust bag and a perforated plate, allowing for effective dust collection directly during sanding, maintaining cleanliness in the work area and improving the visibility of the cutting line. However, it is necessary to remember the specifics of battery compatibility: the device is not compatible with models BL1811G, BL1813G, BL1815G (without electronics) nor with the BL1815 battery (18 V / 1.3 Ah), due to the requirements of the motor head electronics controller. For optimal performance, batteries with full energy management electronics are recommended.
