This tool eliminates the need to "shoot" into walls, which is crucial during renovation works, kitchen cabinet installation, or electrical installations. Thanks to advanced sensors, the device can identify not only metal reinforcement bars but also plastic pipes, wooden studs, and electrical cables (even those under voltage) hidden deep within the material. This is particularly important in the case of concrete, where traditional detectors often fail. The device offers a maximum metal detection depth of up to 180 mm, allowing safe drilling even in thick load-bearing partitions. For materials such as wood or plastic, this range is 25 mm and 120 mm respectively, covering most standard applications in residential and industrial construction.

Intelligent operating mode and clear result visualization

A key advantage of this scanner is the ability to select one of four operating modes adapted to specific materials: dry concrete, wet concrete, wooden/plaster partitions, and radar mode. This ensures the user receives significantly more reliable results, regardless of wall moisture or plaster type. The 4.1-inch display presents data in the form of a color thermal map, facilitating quick object localization without the need to interpret complex audio indicators. The tool indicates not only the center position of the object (with ±5 mm accuracy) but also its estimated width and depth.

For installers working with complex pipe or cable layouts, a Multi-detection mode is available, allowing simultaneous display of results from three parallel scanning lines. This solution is invaluable when determining the trajectory of diagonally running pipes or checking reinforcement density. Additional convenience is provided by built-in vertical lasers (left and right), which precisely mark the sensor center and scanning direction on the wall surface, significantly accelerating the marking of drilling points.

Ergonomics, durability, and system compatibility

The device is designed for daily use on construction sites, featuring an IP54 protection rating, meaning resistance to dust and water splashes. It operates within a wide temperature range from -10°C to +40°C, making it a universal tool for both indoor and outdoor work (e.g., on sheltered facades). Powering via LXT series Li-ion batteries (14.4 V or 18 V) ensures flexibility – batteries with capacities from 1.5 Ah to 6 Ah can be used depending on required energy performance. When using the BL1860B battery, operating time can reach up to 28 hours on a single charge.

The set includes a durable Makpac #2 system case, ensuring safe transport and storage of the device along with accessories. The weight of the tool itself is approximately 1 kg (without battery), and with the battery, it falls within the 1.3–1.7 kg range, allowing for prolonged work without excessive strain on the operator's wrist. Features such as automatic shutdown after a specified period of inactivity and an adjustable screen sleep timer further ensure energy savings during work breaks.
