Mobile Cable Cutting Without Limitations

This device has been designed for field work where access to power is difficult or impossible. Thanks to the LXT 18 V battery system, the operator gains full freedom of movement without being dependent on extension cords or generators. The machine's construction is lightweight – it weighs only 3.6 kg, significantly reducing fatigue during long installation shifts. A key feature is the open cutting head design (so-called "open blade"), which allows precise cable cutting at any point along its run, without the need to remove end fittings or access the very end of the cable.

Application and Cutting Performance

The machine is ideal for installation work in the energy sector, construction, and modernization of transmission networks. It is dedicated to cutting aluminum and copper cables with a rated voltage up to 600 V. The device effectively handles three-core VVR cables with a cross-section of up to 150 mm², corresponding to an outer diameter of up to 47 mm. The blade opening enables quick and safe cutting of even thick cable bundles in a single motion, which is crucial when working in confined spaces.

It is worth noting the automatic reverse function, which facilitates removal of the cut cable segment from the head or correction of the blade position after an unsuccessful cut. This small detail, in practice, speeds up work and reduces the risk of damaging the insulation of adjacent cores during tool maneuvering.

Dimensions and Operational Details

The basic dimensions of the device are 116 x 190 x 430 mm (length x width x height), allowing easy transport and storage in standard transport equipment. Please note that the set includes only the machine body – the battery and charger are sold separately. For proper operation, original blades are required: fixed blade (code ZM00000191) and cutting blade (code ZM00000175). Thanks to its compact design and ergonomic handle, the tool fits into standard transport cases, facilitating its transport to the construction site without additional packaging.
