Rotary hammer with chiseling function 28 mm XGT 40Vmax BLDC, quick-release chuck, Makpac, 2.8J HR004GZ01
Power and Precision in One Body
This tool combines the capabilities of a hammer drill with a chiseling function, delivering an impact energy of 2.9 J (according to EPTA standard), enabling effective drilling in concrete up to 32 mm in diameter and the use of diamond core bits up to 65 mm. Thanks to the brushless BLDC motor and the 40V MAX XGT system, the device offers performance comparable to corded machines while eliminating limitations imposed by power cords. For installers, key factors include not only raw power but also flexibility—the tool supports batteries with capacities of 2.5 Ah and 4.0 Ah (models BL4025 and BL4040), allowing users to select the appropriate energy source based on the scale and duration of the task.
Working Comfort and Versatility of Applications
In daily operation, three working modes are worth noting: drilling, hammer drilling, and chiseling, making the machine a versatile tool for assembly and demolition work. The design incorporates AVT (Anti-Vibration Technology), which significantly reduces vibrations transmitted to the operator's hands—crucial during extended work cycles. An additional advantage is the sliding handle facilitating quick accessory changes, along with two integrated LED lights with delayed shut-off, illuminating the work area even in challenging lighting conditions. The tool also features a speed control dial and a trigger switch, providing full control over the drilling process.
Equipment and Resistance to External Conditions
The machine is supplied in a MakPac Type 4 system case, ensuring safe transport and storage together with essential accessories. The set includes two quick-change chucks: a standard SDS-Plus chuck for mounting hammer drill bits and an additional drill chuck up to 13 mm, eliminating the need to purchase it separately. Included accessories also comprise an anti-vibration side handle, a depth stop, and maintenance grease. Thanks to XPT (Xtreme Protection Technology), the tool body exhibits enhanced resistance to dust and moisture, increasing its service life in demanding construction environments.
The tool operates within a speed range of 0 to 980 rpm with an impact frequency of up to 5000 blows per minute. The total weight of the device is approximately 4.5 kg (according to EPTA standard), and compatibility includes Li-ion batteries from the 40V MAX series (models BL4025 and BL4040).
