Operating and charging parameters

The MW Power MWS 18-12 battery offers optimal charging parameters for standby operation (13.50-13.80V) and cyclic operation (14.40-15.00V). The maximum charging current is 5.0A, and the maximum discharge current is as high as 160A (for 5 seconds). The internal resistance of the charged battery is approximately 17.5 mΩ. The battery capacity varies depending on the temperature – at 25°C it is 18Ah, at 20°C – about 18 Ah, at 0°C it drops to about 85%, and at -15°C to about 65%. The self-discharge of the battery after three months is about 91%, after six months – about 82%, and after twelve months – about 64%.
