Cable tray – a solid foundation for installation

The MKS 60/200/1.0 cable tray, 3 meters long, is an element of a cable routing system designed for safe and organized routing of electrical cables. Made of hot-dip galvanized steel, it provides high corrosion resistance and durability, making it an ideal solution for both indoor and outdoor applications. Side and bottom perforation facilitates the mounting of additional accessories and direct mounting to the building structure.

Construction and user parameters

The tray is characterized by dimensions of 60 mm in height and 200 mm in width, offering a useful cross-section of 11800 mm². Material thickness of 1 mm guarantees adequate stiffness and mechanical strength. The weight of the tray is 2.63 kg/m. Thanks to the side perforation (7 x 20 mm), it is easy to mount additional elements, and mounting holes in the bottom part facilitate direct mounting to the substrate. The use of hot-dip galvanized steel ensures long-term protection against weathering and corrosion.

Application and safety

The MKS 60/200/1.0 tray is widely used in electrical installations of industrial, commercial and public buildings. It is ideal for routing large bundles of power, signaling and telecommunication cables. It meets the requirements of IEC 61537 standard (Type II), which confirms its safety of use. Possible support spacing is from 1.5 to 2.5 m, with safe working load depending on the spacing:

• 1.5 m support spacing: 1500 N/m
• 2.0 m support spacing: 1000 N/m
• 2.5 m support spacing: 500 N/m

The tray is compatible with the MKS system from OBO BETTERMANN, allowing for the creation of comprehensive and flexible cable routes. The lack of a cover allows easy access to the cables during maintenance or modification of the installation.
