Cable tray and mesh trunking cover – solid protection for installations

This non-perforated cover is designed for use with cable trays and mesh trunking, providing effective protection for cables and installations. Made of 1 mm thick steel, coated with galvanized zinc, it guarantees corrosion resistance and durability. A width of 50 mm and a length of 3000 mm make the cover ideal for securing longer cable sections. Mounting is done with screws, ensuring stability and easy disassembly if necessary.

The cover is compatible not only with cable trays but also with cable ladders and mesh trunking, making it a universal solution for various types of installations. Cross embossing from a width of 500 mm increases the rigidity of the structure.

Materials and construction

The cover is made of steel, which ensures its mechanical strength and resistance to damage. Galvanic zinc coating provides additional protection against corrosion, especially important for installations exposed to moisture or changing weather conditions. Material thickness of 1 mm is a compromise between weight and strength – it provides solidity without excessive structural load. The screwed mounting method allows for secure and stable attachment of the cover to the tray or ladder.

It is worth remembering that when using covers outdoors, it is recommended to provide additional protection of the tray against wind.

Application and compliance with standards

The DRLU 050 FS cover finds application in a wide range of electrical installations, both indoors and outdoors (with additional protection). It is ideal for securing cables in industrial, commercial and residential buildings. Although the product does not have an E30/E90 performance maintenance system, it is worth noting the possibility of using other OBO Bettermann system components that meet these requirements to ensure the highest level of fire safety.
