Cable duct fitting WDK – flexibility and reliability

This tee and cross from the WDK series is an element of a cable installation system, designed to change the direction of cable routing. The fitting allows for quick and efficient creation of branches in installations, and pre-perforated holes on the side allow for connecting ducts with different cross-sections – this saves time and material during assembly.

A key advantage is its manufacture from high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC), which guarantees durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The IP30 protection class provides basic protection against touching and the ingress of solid objects, and the impact resistance class IK04 confirms resistance to impacts. The fitting is adapted to work in a wide temperature range, from -5°C to 60°C, making it a universal solution both inside buildings and in spaces with controlled temperatures.

Installation and application

The WDK fitting is characterized by a snap-in mounting system, which facilitates quick assembly and disassembly without the need for additional tools. Its dimensions – 170 mm wide and 60 mm high – are adapted to standard WDK cable ducts. The white color (RAL 9001) provides an aesthetic look of the installation, especially important in public spaces or where aesthetics matter. The raw surface finish allows for possible painting of the fitting in any color to match the surroundings.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning the possibility of using the fitting in installations requiring maintaining the continuity of function in the event of a fire – although it does not have an E30/E90 certificate, its PVC material limits the spread of fire.
