Construction and application

The housing made of PC/ABS plastic complies with IEC/EN 62208 standards and is intended for wall mounting. IP54 protection rating — in accordance with IEC/EN 60529 — provides protection against dust and water splashing from any direction, allowing safe use in outdoor conditions, e.g., on construction sites, in warehouses or at external power points. The material is resistant to temperatures from -25 °C to +40 °C and to UV radiation according to ISO 4892-2, preventing degradation from prolonged sun exposure and extreme weather conditions. Impact resistance IK08 and IK09 (IEC/EN 62262) adds protection against accidental impacts from tools or objects.

Connections and protection

Power input is provided via M32 threaded openings — they allow direct cable connection without the need for plugs, speeding up installation and eliminating failure points related to improper tightening. The output features two CEE 7/3 (type F) sockets with protective contact, one CEE 16 A 5P 400 V socket and one CEE 32 A 5P 400 V socket — all ready for connecting devices up to 32 A. A built‑in 30 mA residual current device (RCD) operates automatically — no external RCD installation required and it provides protection against electric shock from minor leaks. The absence of overload protection devices means that overload and short‑circuit protection must be provided by equipment external to this distribution board.
