Cast iron tee SML 125X100/45 – reliability and durability in the sewage system

This SML cast iron tee, made of cupola-free gray cast iron, is a key element of the sewage system, designed for efficient wastewater drainage inside buildings. Its construction and material guarantee long-lasting and trouble-free operation, meeting the requirements of EN-877 standard. This tee connects pipes with diameters of 125 mm and 100 mm at an angle of 45 degrees, allowing for flexible installation shaping.

Construction and protection

The SML system is distinguished by the lack of sockets, which simplifies assembly and ensures tightness of connections using appropriate pipe clamps. Both pipes and fittings are covered with protective layers – on the outside with a red-brown primer paint (40 μm), and on the inside with epoxy resin in ochre color (120 μm). This two-layer coating provides high resistance to corrosion and the action of aggressive wastewater. In the case of fittings, the epoxy coating is applied by immersion to both internal and external surfaces, and then cured by firing at high temperature (approx. 180°C), which increases its strength and adhesion.
