Purpose and construction of NEF30 control buttons

The NEF30 control button is an element designed for integration into control panels, control and signaling boards, or directly into the bodies of machines and devices. The construction based on members allows for flexible adaptation to various applications. Designed for mounting in holes with a diameter of 30.5 mm, available in two climatic versions – N/2 and W/3 – which ensures their reliability over a wide temperature range.

Functionality and technical parameters

The NEF30 button is characterized by high resistance to environmental conditions, confirmed by the IP56 protection class. This provides effective protection against dust and water jets. The rated insulation voltage is 500V, and the thermal current Ith is 10A. Adapted to work with various loads, it offers rated switching currents up to 6A (AC15) at 230V/400V and 1A (DC13) at 110V/220V. It withstands impulse voltages up to 2500V and short-circuit currents up to 1000A (gG 6A fuse).

Mounting and application

The button is easy and intuitive to install – it is done using mounting nuts without the need to separate the elements. This makes the installation quick and convenient for both professionals and less experienced users. This button finds application in a wide range of devices and machines requiring reliable control, e.g. in industrial automation, operator panels or electrical devices. Various types of drives (momentary, rotary, latching) are available, allowing the button to be adapted to specific user needs. Additionally, it is possible to configure connecting elements (NO, NC, NO/NC) which increases the versatility of the product.
