Increased network range and PoE power

The EXT-POE2 device in a hermetic housing is a solution for situations where you need to increase the range of an Ethernet network and provide PoE power to IP cameras or other devices located up to 100 meters from a PoE switch. The extender allows you to connect two devices using PoE, utilizing a single Ethernet cable. Design and application

EXT-POE2 is powered by the PoE (IEEE 802.3af/at) standard, eliminating the need for additional power supplies. It uses pairs 4/5 (+) and 7/8(-) for power transmission, leaving pairs 1/2 and 3/6 free for data transmission – in accordance with the Ethernet standard. The hermetic housing (IP56) provides protection against moisture and dust, allowing the device to be mounted outdoors. The possibility of mounting on a pole (using the optional OZB1 adapter) further increases installation flexibility.
