PULSAR installation boxes are elements used to connect and branch electrical wires, providing safe and durable connections in installations. They are particularly important in fire protection systems, where maintaining circuit continuity during a fire is crucial. The box's construction, made of steel sheet, guarantees high mechanical resistance and provides protection against damage.

The AWOP-960PP box is a through-type model designed for wires with a maximum cross-section of 6mm². Its solid construction and materials used ensure reliable operation even in extreme conditions. The box is compatible with various types of cables and can be used in both new and modernized installations.

Construction Features and Application

The AWOP-960PP box has been designed for demanding applications such as fire protection systems. It can be used to power fire protection devices (e.g., fans, smoke dampers, SSP control panels) and DSO systems. Thanks to its construction, it allows the connection of up to nine wire cores. Made of DC01 steel sheet with a thickness of 1mm and coated with red RAL 3001 paint, it provides not only durability but also easy identification in the installation. The dimensions of the box (204 x 100 x 30 mm) allow it to be mounted in various spaces.

• Intended Use: The box is intended for cable installations requiring continuous power or signal transmission during a fire.
• Fire Resistance: The box meets fire resistance standards E30, E60 and E90 (according to DIN 4102-12:1998), confirming its effectiveness in protecting installations from the effects of fire.
• Mounting: The box is mounted directly to concrete or stone substrates using steel bolts with appropriate fire resistance.
• Ingress Protection: IP20 – protection against touching fingers and solid objects larger than 12.5 mm.
• Rated Voltage: The maximum working voltage of the box is 450V AC.
• Wire Cross-Section: The box is adapted for wires with a maximum cross-section of 6mm².
• Operating Temperature: The temperature range during installation is -25°C to +60°C.

Remember that proper installation of the box and the use of appropriate fixing elements (steel bolts) is crucial to ensure its full functionality and safety. It is also important to maintain appropriate distances between cables and the edges of the box and to ensure the depth of the expansion sleeves in the concrete (minimum 30 mm).
