Power supply for fire protection systems – reliable power in critical situations

This buffer power supply, designed for fire alarm and smoke and heat control systems, provides uninterrupted power to devices requiring a stable 27.6 V DC voltage. The design based on EN54-4 and EN 12101-10 standards guarantees high reliability and compliance with stringent safety requirements. This ensures that the fire protection system will function properly even in the event of a mains power failure.

Solid construction and advanced protection

The power supply is characterized by a solid metal housing (DC01 steel, RAL3001 – red), which protects internal components from mechanical damage and environmental influences. Built-in short-circuit (SCP), overload (OLP), overvoltage (OVP), and deep discharge (UVP) protection ensures long-term and safe operation. Additionally, the tamper function – housing opening detection – increases the security level of the installation. Two independent AUX1 and AUX2 outputs with a current efficiency of 9.2 A (continuous operation) or 10 A (temporary operation) allow powering various elements of the fire protection system.

Easy installation and diagnostics

The power supply is designed for surface mounting and has a key lock, which makes unauthorized access more difficult. Optical LED signaling informs about the device's operating status – the presence of mains voltage, DC voltage at the AUX outputs, and any failures. A built-in microprocessor monitors the operation of the power supply and the battery, providing complete system diagnostics. The ability to remotely monitor via LAN or RS485 interfaces (requires appropriate modules) further facilitates installation management. The power supply works with AGM or gel lead-acid batteries with a capacity of 2 x 17 Ah, and the battery charging current is 0.8 A. The device dimensions are 385 x 402 x 88 mm (+8mm distance from the ground).
