Buffered power supply for fire protection systems

This buffered power supply, with a voltage of 27.6V DC and a current of 10A, is designed to reliably power fire alarm systems, smoke extraction systems and other devices requiring a stable voltage. It meets the stringent EN54-4 standards, guaranteeing its suitability for professional fire protection installations. The use of two 40Ah batteries ensures long-term operation in the event of a mains power failure.

Construction and parameters

The power supply is housed in a durable, red steel housing (RAL 3001), designed for surface mounting. Inside there is space for two 12V batteries with a capacity of 40Ah (batteries are not included). The device is characterized by high efficiency (up to 89%) and minimizes energy losses. The battery charging current is 1.8A. Built-in protections – SCP, OLP, OVP, UVP and tamper – protect the installation from damage and unauthorized access. Additionally, it has technical outputs signaling AC and collective failures, as well as an input for an external failure signal.

Functionality and application

The power supply provides uninterrupted power to connected devices, automatically switching to battery power in the event of a mains power failure. It has two independent AUX1 and AUX2 outputs, which increases the flexibility of the installation. The possibility of expanding with fuse modules (EN54C-LB4, EN54C-LB8) and sequential modules (EN54C-LS4, EN54C-LS8) allows you to adapt the power supply to the specific requirements of a given system. Optical LED signaling informs about the operating status of the device - the presence of mains power, battery charging and any failures. Additionally, some versions offer the possibility of remote monitoring via LAN or RS485 interface (requires appropriate modules).
