This buffer power supply, with a voltage of 27.6V DC and a current of 10A, is designed to provide uninterrupted power to fire alarm systems, smoke and heat control systems, and other devices requiring a stable power supply. Thanks to its compliance with EN54-4 standard, it guarantees high reliability and safety in critical situations. The power supply works with batteries with a capacity of 2x65Ah, providing long-lasting backup operation in the event of a mains power failure.

Design and Functionality

The casing made of durable steel sheet (RAL 3001 – red) protects the internal components from mechanical damage and ensures the durability of the device. Inside, there are two independent AUX1 and AUX2 outputs, providing a voltage of 27.6 V DC with a total current efficiency of 10A (momentarily) or 7.4A (continuously). Built-in protections – OVP, SCP, OLP, UVP, and tamper – protect against overvoltage, short circuits, overloads, and unauthorized access. It also has an EXTi input for signaling external failures.

The power supply is equipped with microprocessor-controlled operation, which monitors the status of the device and the battery. In the event of an AC power failure, it automatically switches to battery power without interrupting the operation of connected devices. Optical LED signaling informs about the status of the mains power, output voltage, and any failures.
