Power supply for fire protection systems – reliable power and monitoring
This advanced buffer power supply, designed for fire protection systems, provides uninterrupted power to devices requiring stabilized 27.6 V DC. Its use in smoke and heat control systems, as well as in fire protection and fire automation devices, guarantees their proper operation in critical situations. Equipped with two independent AUX1 and AUX2 outputs, it offers configuration flexibility and high efficiency.
Key features and functionality
The power supply is characterized by high efficiency – up to 88% – which translates to minimal energy losses and stable operation. The ability to cooperate with AGM or gel batteries with a capacity of 17 Ah ensures long-term backup power in the event of a mains failure. The built-in LCD display enables local monitoring of operating parameters, and optional Ethernet and RS485 interfaces allow for remote operation and diagnostics. Protections against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, and sabotage guarantee the safety of the installation and protect against damage.
Application and compliance with standards
The device meets the stringent requirements of EN54-4 and EN12101-10 standards, confirming its reliability and effectiveness in fire protection systems. The housing made of DC01 steel sheet (RAL3001) ensures durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The power supply is ideal for applications requiring high reliability and continuity of operation, such as fire control centers, alarm systems, and evacuation control devices. The possibility of expanding with fuse modules (EN54C-LB4, EN54C-LB8) and sequential modules (EN54C-LS4, EN54C-LS8) increases the functionality of the system.
Additional information for installers
The power supply has two technical outputs (EPS – AC mains failure, ALARM – collective failure) and one technical input EXTi (external failure), which facilitates integration with other elements of the fire protection system. The built-in protections protect against the effects of short circuits, overloads, and incorrect voltages. Thanks to the possibility of remote monitoring via Ethernet or RS485, servicing and diagnostics become faster and more efficient. Surface mounting facilitates installation in various conditions.
