This advanced buffer power supply, designed for fire protection and smoke extraction systems, ensures uninterrupted power to critical devices. Compliance with EN54-4 standard guarantees its use in professional fire alarm systems. The device is characterized by high efficiency and reliability, and its solid construction ensures long-term operation.

Key features and applications

The power supply is designed to work with lead-acid (AGM or gel) batteries with a capacity of 2x17Ah. It has two independently protected AUX1 and AUX2 outputs, providing 27.6V DC, which allows powering various system components. In the event of a mains voltage failure, it automatically switches to battery power, ensuring continuous operation. Additionally, remote monitoring (optional via Ethernet or RS485) enables quick response in the event of a failure and optimization of system operation.

Additionally, it has technical outputs signaling AC network failures (EPS) and collective failures (ALARM), as well as an EXTi input for connecting external alarm signals. The built-in LCD display makes it easy to read the power supply operating parameters and diagnose any problems. The battery charging current is 0.8A, and the device efficiency is 87%. The housing is made of DC01 steel sheet with a thickness of 1mm and painted red RAL3001. The IP30 protection class provides protection against touching and the ingress of solid objects.

Mounting and additional functions

The power supply is designed for surface mounting and can be locked with a lock (1xMR027). Thanks to the possibility of expanding with Ethernet or RS485 interfaces, it is possible to remotely monitor the device status and configure operating parameters. Optional fuse modules (EN54C-LB4/LB8) and sequential modules (EN54C-LS4/LS8) are also available, which extend the functionality of the system. The manufacturer's warranty is 3 years from the date of production.
