AGM/12V/36Ah/max.540A QOLTEC battery 53084

AGM Technology for Demanding Applications

The 36Ah capacity AGM battery is a professional solution for emergency power systems and float charging circuits. AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology utilizes special high-porosity fiberglass mats that absorb the electrolyte between the lead plates. This design enables a slow discharge process, ensuring longer battery life and a stable energy source.

Applications include a wide range of devices requiring reliable power. In the security sector, it excels in alarm and monitoring systems, where power continuity is crucial for property protection. In medical environments, it powers medical equipment as well as scales and cash registers, guaranteeing safety of use. For internal combustion vehicles, it serves as a reliable energy source for scooters, quads, forklifts, boats, and campers.

Construction and Technical Parameters

The maintenance-free construction of the battery eliminates the need for regular electrolyte level checks. The leak-proof housing and shock resistance allow for installation in various positions, significantly expanding installation possibilities. The use of pure lead (without recycled additives) ensures maximum capacity and efficiency throughout the entire service life.

Electrical parameters include a nominal voltage of 12V and a maximum discharge current of 330A for 5 seconds. The maximum charging current is 10.5A, and the internal resistance is only 11mΩ, which guarantees high energy efficiency.

The device dimensions are 130 × 194 × 170 mm with a net weight of 10,3 kg. The housing, made of high-grade plastic, provides long-term protection of internal components against environmental conditions.

Operating Conditions and Lifespan

The battery maintains full functionality across a wide range of operating temperatures. During discharge, it operates effectively from -15°C to +50°C, charging is possible in the range of -10°C to +50°C, and storage is permissible from -20°C to +50°C. Battery capacity remains stable - at 25°C it is the standard 100%, at 40°C it reaches 102%, while at 0°C it drops to 85%, and at -15°C to 65%.

Self-discharge is minimal - after three months of storage, the battery retains 91% of its original capacity, after six months 82%, and after a year it still maintains 65%. This characteristic allows for long-term storage without significant energy losses.

The design life is up to 10 years under float mode at a temperature of 25°C. To achieve optimal durability, deep discharge should be avoided, and a dedicated charger should be used via the constant voltage method - first with constant current, then maintaining a constant voltage.

Compliance and Warranty

The product meets the requirements of VRLA (Valve Regulated Lead Acid) technology, ensuring full sealing and safety of use. Float charging should take place at a voltage between 13,5-13,8V, while cyclic charging requires a higher voltage in the range of 14,5-15,0V.

The battery is covered by a warranty for a period of 12 months exclusively for float mode operation. In the event of a claim, it is necessary to attach a usage protocol, which serves as the basis for analyzing the validity of the warranty claim.

The T14 (M6) type connector enables a solid electrical connection and easy installation in existing systems. Possible dimensional deviations are ±2%, while the weight tolerance is ±10%, which is typical for this type of electrochemical construction.
