Pressure maintaining devices perform three important functions:

1. Maintaining pressure at every point in the installation within permissible limits. This means protecting against exceeding the maximum permissible operating pressure, as well as preventing a drop below the minimum pressure, to avoid underpressure, cavitation and evaporation.
2. Compensating for changes in water volume in the installation caused by temperature changes.
3. Compensating for water losses resulting from the operation of the installation in the form of an appropriate water reserve. The REFIX DT vessel is designed for drinking water installations, pressure boosting installations and water heating installations, in accordance with DIN 1988. The Refix DT vessel with a replaceable membrane is mainly installed in large installations. Characteristics: • with Flowjet flow fitting, shut-off and drain valve or flanged connection, • replaceable diaphragm conforming to PN-EN 13831, DIN 4807 part 5, KTW-C and W 270 standards, • approval in accordance with the pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU, • painted inside and outside, • pressure gauge included, • pressure gauge and pre-pressure valve protected by a metal cover, • MBM sensor connection, • has PZH approval, • designed for direct mounting on the cold water pipeline.
