Pressure maintaining devices perform three important functions:

1. Maintaining pressure at every point in the installation within permissible limits. This means protecting against exceeding the maximum permissible working pressure, as well as against falling below the minimum pressure, to avoid underpressure, cavitation and evaporation.
2. Compensating for changes in water volume in the installation caused by temperature changes.
3. Compensating for water losses resulting from the operation of the installation in the form of an appropriate water reserve. The REFIX DC vessel is designed for installations that do not meet the requirements of DIN 1988 standard, e.g. for fire protection installations, for domestic water, for underfloor heating. Characteristics: • without flow, shut-off and drain fittings, • half-membrane compliant with PN-EN 13831 standard, • parts in contact with water are protected against corrosion, • approval compliant with the pressure equipment directive 2014/68/EU, • non-replaceable membrane, • has PZH certificate.
